Functional Medicine Physician

Michelle Carrillo Massa, MD, is the owner and Medical Director of Advanced Natural Medicine of Jupiter, Inc. located in South Florida. Her mission is to partner with and equip her patients with the appropriate tools to optimize their health. Dr. Carrillo Massa is a firm believer that food is medicine and the body is capable of healing itself from disease when the focus is placed on finding and treating the root cause. She offers life-altering solutions by focusing on optimizing gut health, immunity, and by providing nutritional support and supplementation advice to help balance biological dysfunctions. Dr. Carrillo Massa graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree. She then obtained her medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean in St. Maarten, N.A. and returned to Shands Hospital at UF to complete a residency and board certification in Family Medicine. She found her calling in functional medicine after spending time researching and studying alternative therapies. This led her to achieve certification by the American Board of Integrative Holistic Medicine. She is an active member of ABIHM, the Institute for Functional Medicine, and the American College for Advancement in Medicine.
